GM begins restructure in Thailand

Thailand's automotive industry has had another setback, this time with regard to its manufacturing segment. The job cuts that were expected owing to GM's restructuring of its manufacturing operations in the country have arrived, and they total around 500 in all. This translates into more than 16% of its local workforce.
