- Hector Rodriguez is the new Director for Spain/Portugal
In order adequately to meet the strong rising demand for Kögel semi-trailers in Spain and Portugal, Kögel has created the new position of Director Spain/Portugal, appointing Hector Rodriguez as its first incumbent. Kögel can thus guarantee its customers in Spain and Portugal an even better, faster and more comprehensive service. Together with Edgar Rodriguez, the new regional sales manager for Spain, Hector Rodriguez is available to Spanish customers to assess their specialised needs and to provide advice on Kögel’s range of products for the forwarding and construction industries. In his new position, Hector Rodriguez will be responsible mainly for key accounts and customers in Spain and Portugal. He will be reporting directly to executive director Thomas Heckel.
Hector Rodriguez, a native Spaniard, has accumulated many years of experience in the sale of commercial vehicles and the goods transport industry: Before joining Kögel, Rodriguez held the position of Area Sales Manager South Europe with an internationally renowned manufacturer of trailer axles. Prior to this, Rodriguez – a business graduate – was involved in the management of various freight container sales and rental companies.
“The appointment of Hector Rodriguez as Sales Manager Spain/Portugal is a response to the changes in the market situation in this region,” says Thomas Heckel, executive director of Kögel. “With our new team in Spain, headed by Hector Rodriguez, we have acquired specialised experts to take on this task.”
