According to data released by the International Organisation of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA), Mexico produced over 723,000 commercial vehicles (CVs) during 2014, making it the fourth highest producer in the world and following only the US, China and Japan. Heavy-duty vehicles (HDVs) account for a significant portion of the figures, and industry experts believe that the future is bright for the Mexican HDV market as it continues to benefit and learn from its northern neighbour.
