Nizar Trigui, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Dura Automotive, has been confirmed as a speaker in the Vehicle Lightweighting stream at Automotive Megatrends 2015, which takes place on 17 March 2015.
In this role Nizar is responsible for worldwide product development, advanced engineering and innovation activities. Nizar joined Dura in November 2013 and brings extensive management, technology and product development, supply chain management, and global operations experience to his position.
Nizar has served in multiple leadership positions at Ford, and most recently served as Global Chief Engineer, Sustainable Mobility for Ford. Since 2007, he has led the corporate sustainability strategy for Ford product brands globally, developing and implementing strategic plans and enabling technologies. His efforts yielded major improvements in the global product fleet’s environmental footprint, showroom competitiveness, and brand-favourable perception.
Nizar began his career at Ford where he held positions of increasing responsibility in manufacturing, programme management and product development. He also served in senior engineering roles with Jaguar Land Rover, based in the UK.
