Xiaomi has produced and shipped 300,000 EVs in just 15 months

Xiaomi is struggling to maintain pace with surging demand, but hopes a major expansion of its Beijing plant can ease delivery wait times. By Stewart Burnett

Xiaomi has produced and delivered 300,000 vehicles within 15 months of launching its first model in March 2024, with CEO Lei Jun announcing the milestone on Weibo. The Chinese electronics giant is now shipping 840 units daily in 2025, up from 511 per day this time a year ago.
