Xpeng has kicked off overseas production for the first time ever through local assembly of its X9 electric MPV in Indonesia using imported completely-knocked-down (CKD) kits. The Chinese automaker plans sales and service coverage across 70% of Indonesia's core cities by end-2025 as it targets Southeast Asia's largest EV market.
