Utpal Deka, Managing Director India, Cambridge Systematics, has been confirmed as a speaker at Automotive Megatrends India 2015.  He will serve as a moderator in the commercial vehicle road freight efficiency track.

Deka is an international infrastructure project development (road, rail, power, urban development), finance and institutional capacity building expert who specialises in business operations, financial structuring, and transaction advisory for infrastructure projects. He has more than 21 years of experience in the fields of project development and structured finance in Asia, Australia, Africa and America, including extensive work on PPP projects in the infrastructure sector.

He is particularly adept at conducting feasibility studies, performing due diligence, and structuring PPPs. He is widely sought after for his insight into infrastructure project finance, and is a member of the Institute of Urban Transport (India) and the Indian Road Congress, among other organisations.

Automotive Megatrends India is a two-day, multiple-track conference focusing on commercial vehicles and passenger cars.  The panel discussion on day one will cover the key megatrends which look set to shape the country’s commercial vehicle industry over the next ten years and beyond.
