Toyota Motor Europe (TME) today announced several executive level appointments at its European headquarters and wholly-owned distributors Toyota Motor Russia, Toyota Motor España, Toyota Motor Italia and Toyota Central Europe
These changes follow Toyota’s executive and management rotations that take place regularly at global, pan-European and national levels.
Toyota Motor Russia (TMR)
Mr Takeshi Isogaya, President, Toyota Motor Russia, will return to Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan. His successor will be announced in early January.
Toyota Motor Italia (TMI)
Mr Andrea Carlucci, Director, Marketing Strategy, Communication and Lexus, TMI, will be appointed Managing Director, TMI. Mr Carlucci will succeed Mr Satoru Ichijima who will return to Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan.
Toyota Motor España (TES)
Mr Agustin Martin, Director, Marketing, Toyota Motor Europe (TME), will be appointed President and CEO, TES. Mr Martin will succeed Mr Jacques Pieraerts, who will be appointed Vice President, Communication, External and Environmental Affairs at TME.
Toyota Central Europe (TCE)
Mr Shingo Kato, President, Toyota Motor Hungary (TMH) and Toyota Motor Czech Republic (TMCZ), will be appointed President, Toyota Central Europe (TCE), following the reorganisation of central European sales and marketing operations under a Regional Marketing and Sales Company, Toyota Central Europe (TCE) announced earlier this year. TCE will manage all sales, marketing and after sales strategy for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary and is based in Budapest, Hungary. Significant customer- and dealer-facing functions are remaining in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, whilst back-office and strategic functions are moving to TCE.
Toyota Motor Europe (TME)
- Mr Jacques Pieraerts, President and CEO of TES, will be appointed Vice President, Communication, External and Environmental Affairs, Toyota Motor Europe. Mr Pieraerts will succeed Mr Michel Gardel, whose next career step will be announced in due course.
- Mr Mark Adams, Vice President, Strategic Relationship Management, Corporate & Business Planning, TME, will be appointed Project Vice President, Corporate Projects, TME.
- Mr Yasunobu Seki, Lead Coordinating Executive, Strategic Relationship Management, Corporate & Business Planning, and Administration and HR, TME, will be appointed Vice President, Corporate & Business Planning, TME.
