Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota), Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. (Aisin Seiki), and DENSO Corporation (DENSO) of the Toyota Group will make their first appearance at CeBIT 2017, the international digital technology trade fair organized by Deutsche Messe AG and held in Hannover, Germany, from March 20 to March 24.
CeBIT 2017 is one of the world’s largest international trade fair for cutting-edge technologies in information and communications, including IoT, big data, artificial intelligence, and robotics. This year, Japan will participates as the Partner Country for the first time with the Japan Pavilion (sponsored by the Japan External Trade Organization) based on the concept of “Create a New World with Japan-Society 5.0, Another Perspective.”
In the pavilion, Toyota, Aisin Seiki and DENSO are scheduled to showcase personal mobility technologies that bring comfort to everyday living and help resolve social issues and robotics expected to be employed in manufacturing plants and homes of the future. The three companies will also present their activities in the development of driving support systems that aim for zero casualties from traffic accidents and in automated driving technologies. The exhibition is planned to feature the technological efforts of each company, aimed at creating a society where everyone can live with a sense of excitement and security and to offer glimpses into the lifestyle of the future that will be transformed with digital technologies.
