Tim Leverton, President & Head, Advanced and Product Engineering, Tata Motors, has been confirmed as a speaker at Automotive Megatrends India 2015.  He will participate in a panel discussion on India’s passenger car industry over the next ten years.

In this role he is responsible for leading the global R&D of all Tata branded passenger cars, trucks and buses.

He has held a number of senior management positions with the Rover Group and Land Rover, at the BMW Group as Chief Engineer for the 2003 Rolls-Royce Phantom, and JCB as Group Engineering Director. During his time at JCB he led the successful JCB Dieselmax project which raised the world land speed record for diesel powered cars to 350mph (563kph) at Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah, USA in August 2006.

Dr. Leverton is also a member of the prestigious FISITA Honorary Committee.

Automotive Megatrends India is a two-day, multiple-track conference focusing on commercial vehicles and passenger cars.  The panel discussion on day two will cover the key megatrends which look set to shape the country’s car industry over the next ten years and beyond.
