Baker & McKenzie acted for Sundance Energy Australia Limited (Sundance Energy), an ASX listed onshore oil and gas company headquartered in Colorado USA, on the successful two tranche placement of A$80 million shares to professional and sophisticated investors (Placement) and proposed share purchase plan to raise up to $10 million (SPP).
Proceeds from the Placement will be used by Sundance Energy to accelerate development, provide working capital to target bolt-on acquisitions and for transaction costs and other general corporate purposes.
Sundance Energy also intends to offer shares under the SPP to eligible shareholders in Australia and New Zealand to enable those shareholders to acquire additional shares in Sundance Energy.
