The newly formed supervisory board of Adam Opel AG confirmed Steve Girsky, Vice Chairman General Motors Company, in his role as chairman during a constituent session. Also reelected was his deputy Dr. Wolfgang Schäfer-Klug, head of the works council of Adam Opel AG.
New shareholder representatives on the supervisory board are Melissa Howell, Steve Carlisle and John Calabrese. Employee representatives Friedhelm Wenzel, Dirk Grützner and Bernd Lösche will be present for the first time. All other members of the supervisory board were confirmed.
