  • Effective from November, Armin Fendrich will take over as Vice President Sales, Automotive OEM at NNG, the leading global navigation solution provider. Based in Munich, Germany, Armin’s primary objective will be to leverage the immense growth of the company and provide support for partners with an enhanced service portfolio.

Arriving from AUPEO GmbH, Armin Fendrich brings extensive industry experience to NNG. He fulfilled various senior management roles throughout his career at companies like deCarta, Nokia gate 5, and Compaq Computer, and also gained relevant expertise in navigation systems, software sales, and business development.

Now a part of the NNG management team, his principal duty will be to make sure that the immense and rapid growth – recently awarded with a Golden Stevie Award for Fastest Growing Company in Europe, Bronze in the US – happening at NNG is also reflected in the ongoing improvement of client services. He will be overseeing the Auto OEM Business Unit, whose aim is to assist OEMs in their decisions and coordinate with them on how NNG’s navigation software solutions can help them achieve their goals. Armin will act as an essential link in partner relations, while also working with NNG’s automotive teams to develop the next generation of in-vehicle navigation and infotainment systems.

I am looking forward to using my experience in the LBS and Navigation space to accelerate the strong growth NNG has had with OEMs and Tier 1 partners over the past years. NNG has a very unique position in this industry and can expand its presence in the market  with new products and connected services, which go beyond the traditional navigation software experience” – said Armin Fendrich.

Armin fills the gap left by Jim Nardulli, who recently left NNG after 6 years. He played an integral role in expanding NNG’s presence in the global automotive industry.
