Treating today’s highly computerized commercial vehicles as nodes in a network, OCC uses a unique open-architecture, telematics-neutral approach to provide fleet managers with a comprehensive view of vehicles’ health and usage patterns in real time, regardless of make. It alerts fleets to potential vehicle issues before they happen—speeding repairs, preventing catastrophic problems, and converting many repairs into routine maintenance. OCC also reduces vehicles’ maintenance costs and improves their productivity. In addition, it creates incremental parts and service opportunities for Navistar and its International Truck and IC Bus dealer networks.
