Nearly 25,000 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross have been sold in Europe during the first ten months of CY 2018, and Mitsubishi Motors renowned 4WD expertise hasn’t gone unnoticed, with Germany’s OFF ROAD magazine voting it number one in the “Crossover” category amongst its 2018 awards.
This award selection came from readers of the highly reputable 4WD-specialized German magazine OFF ROAD, picking their respective favourites from 170+ models across 13 different categories.
The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross launched in Europe just under a year ago and allowed Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) to branch out into the new segment of SUV Coupes. The more dynamic SUV concept of the Eclipse Cross remained faithful to MMC’s traditional forte of 4WD technology, featuring the advanced Lancer Evolution inspired “Super-All Wheel Control” system (S-AWC).
As a further vote of confidence to the brand and its 4WD technology, the OFF ROAD readers also placed the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV at number one in the “Alternative Powertrain” category.
