Angela Shepherd, Network Operations Director, Mercedes-Benz Cars has topped the Sales category in a list of Top 100 British Women working in the Automotive Industry compiled by Autocar Magazine in conjunction with the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
Autocar Editorial Director Jim Holder said: “We launched this initiative to highlight the opportunities that the global car industry presents. The achievements of everyone on the list are a testimony to the breadth of skills and capability in the sector.”
From a graduate role at Mercedes-Benz in 1990 Angela worked in a number of roles which have ultimately led to ensuring that the Mercedes-Benz network representation is industry-leading. Mercedes-Benz has also achieved the number one position in the last three NFDA surveys, which only serves to demonstrate Angela’s experience and expertise. Prior to her current role Angela held the positions of Head of Training and Customer Services Director for Mercedes-Benz Cars.
