1. Domestic Production

Mazda’s total domestic production volume in May 2013 increased 7.0% compared to May 2012 due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

CX-5: 24,062 units (up 62.1% year-on-year)
Mazda3 (Axela): 20,001 units (down 28.9% year-on-year)
Mazda6 (Atenza): 11,546 units (up 386.8% year-on-year)

 

2. Overseas Production

Mazda’s overseas production volume in May 2013 decreased 27.9% compared to May 2012, reflecting decreased production of passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

Mazda’s total domestic sales volume in May 2013 increased 3.7% compared to May 2012 due to increased sales of passenger vehicles.

Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 5.9% (up 0.3 points year-on-year), with a 3.2% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.7 points year-on-year) and a 4.8% total market share (up 0.5 points year-on-year).
