- LADA takes part in Moscow Off-Road Show 2015
- Global premiere of LADA Vesta Cross Concept – the symbol of a potential of the LADA Vesta project and new LADA DNA
- The full LADA line-up of Cross and 4×4 families was presented. Cars are available for test-drives
It was a global premiere of LADA Vesta Cross Concept today on the LADA exhibition stand in the International show of off-roads, cross-overs and cross-country cars – Moscow Off-Road Show 2015. The car was presented to a wide audience by the president of JSC AVTOVAZ Bo Inge Andersson.
LADA Vesta Cross Concept shows an example of progress of the LADA Vesta project and variations of a new X-like style of LADA in the format of the off-road station wagon. Target of the concept – is not only to explain the new language of a new style of LADA, but in this particular case, it is to show a potential of development of the LADA Vesta family, which is going to be launched in mass-production in autumn 2015.
As the president of JSC AVTOVAZ Bo Inge Andersson says – LADA Vesta Cross Concept is a tool to study customers reaction on development of LADA Vesta project. “Vesta Cross Concept is a continuation of the LADA strategy to create new products oriented on customers, based on market specifics and demands from potential clients of new generation. The concept shows full involvement of LADA in current and future trends of development of cars and plays an important role in a continuous progress of the corporate brand style. There is a possibility of mass-production of such a vehicle, but it is too early to say anything about terms of technical characteristics”, – said Mr. President.
Steve Mattin, design director of JSC AVTOVAZ reminded in his speech that the style of dynamic and sport station wagon is based on the design of conceptual LADA Vesta presented in the Moscow Motor show just a year ago, and on the look of a serial LADA Vesta. “Initially, the base for the new LADA style and the design language were presented as the XRAY Concept in Moscow in 2012”, – reminded Mr. Mattin.
New LADA is accompanied by two concepts – LADA Vesta and LADA XRAY with a new DNA of the brand, and, also, with the line-up of LADA Cross and LADA 4×4 families – LADA Largus Cross, LADA Kalina Cross, LADA 4×4 Urban and LADA 4×4 Elbrus Edition. These production vehicles are shown on the test-drive area with artificial obstacles, where everybody can test their potential.
