Jean Pierre Verge Salamon, President – India, Asia Oceania Sales, Volvo Group Truck Sales has been confirmed as a speaker at Automotive Megatrends India 2015. He will participate in a panel discussion on India’s commercial vehichle industry over the next ten years.
Salamon became the President, Asia Oceania Sales, Volvo Trucks India, in June 2015. As President, he leads all the activities dedicated to the Volvo Trucks brand, supporting and developing Eicher Sales through participation on the VECV Board.
In addition to this, Salamon plays a key role in interfacing between Volvo Group Truck organisations such as Group Trucks Technology and Group Trucks Operations. He also deals with relations between Volvo Group and it’s joint-venture companies such as VECV in India, specialising in business development, synergy projects and know-how transfer.
Salamon has over ten years of experience in the truck industry in various international markets through multiple brands. He is now responsible for developing, creating and growing new business entities and ensuring the sustainability of the Volvo Group.
Automotive Megatrends India is a two-day, multiple -track conference focusing on commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The panel discussion on day one will cover the key megatrends which look set to shape the country’s commercial vehicle industry over the next ten years and beyond.
