Jaguar Land Rover, the UK’s leading manufacturer of premium luxury vehicles delivered positive sales performance in September, retailing 46,299 vehicles, up 7% versus the same period last year. During the first nine months of the year, Jaguar Land Rover has sold 351,153 vehicles, up 12%.

Commenting on the September performance Andy Goss, Jaguar Land Rover Group Sales Operations Director said: “Jaguar Land Rover has delivered continued solid growth in September. Our investment in new products continues with the debut of the Land Rover Discovery Sport and the Jaguar XE this month, giving us a very strong, desirable range of products appealing to more customers than ever before – and many more new models in the pipeline.”

Jaguar Land Rover’s regional performance year-to-date shows 39% growth in the China Region, 18% in Asia Pacific, 7% in North America, 6% in the UK and 5% in Europe, with other overseas markets 1% down. Retails in the month of September were as follows: Asia Pacific up 26%, the China Region up 25%, the UK up 9% and other overseas market up 4%. Sales in Europe were down 9% for the month and, in North America, sales were down 10% due to low inventory of volume leaders.

Land Rover delivered robust sales performance for September, selling 37,795 vehicles, up 9%. Calendar year-to-date sales reached 287,919 vehicles, up 13% year-on-year on the back of continued strong customer demand particularly for the Range Rover Sport, Range Rover and Range Rover Evoque,
Jaguar sales in the month of September retailed 8,504 up 1%. Calendar year-to-date sales were up 10% year-on-year, retailing 63,234 vehicles, with the F-Type continuing to drive sales and raise brand awareness around the world.
