At the 67th International Motor Show for Commercial Vehicles in Hannover, Citroën will unveil its new retail concept ‘La Manufacture Citroën’ and showcase the world premiere of New Berlingo Van ahead of deliveries in the UK at the end of the year. The motor show will take place from 20 to 27 September, with the press day tomorrow (Wednesday 19 September).

Following on from the ‘La Maison Citroën’ for passenger vehicles that was first unveiled in 2017, Citroën is asserting its ‘Inspired By Pro’ signature with ‘La Manufacture Citroën’. The retail concept is dedicated to the sale of company, commercial and converted vehicles by the Citroën brand.

The ‘Manufacture’ nomenclature is from a French name (recognised internationally), which is the symbol of expertise, know-how and tradition. It promises ‘tailor-made’ products that meet the requirements of all professional customers. The logo compliments that of ‘La Maison Citroën’ and is based on the look of an official seal, which guarantees quality.

In addition to the logo, ‘La Manufacture Citroën’ underlines the brand’s commitment to professional customers through the design of the concept store. The graphics reflect the professional world of building sites and workshops, with a striking red and white striped design.

OUTDOORS: AN IMPACTFUL AND RECOGNISABLE REPRESENTATION

  • Upon arrival in the car park, a ‘hero’ converted vehicle is positioned high up on a branded podium, to immediately identify the site and promote Citroën’s offering
  • A dedicated car park and a reception area are marked out for customers
  • Illuminated signage explains the commercial offering in a simple and informative way, highlighting the specifications of the models. Symbols are used to illustrate the conversion possibilities of the vehicles e.g. refrigerated vans, tippers
  • There is a range of large banners around the site
  • A covered area displaying Citroën’s flagship vehicles can also be created for greater customer comfort

INDOORS: A DEDICATED AREA

  • A vehicle will be displayed at the entrance, with the same design and signage elements as outside, e.g. a podium and a display totem
  • There is a warm and welcoming customer space that includes comfortable seating, a connected counter, and both open plan and private sales executive desks
  • Use of light oak – in line with the cosy ambience of ‘La Maison Citroën’ – combined with Anthracite Grey fabric to underscore the ‘Pro’ look and feel
  • An illuminated ‘La Manufacture Citroën’ sign on a wooden wall to identify the ‘Pro’ area
  • The complete range of business vehicles, with various configurations on display.

In keeping with ‘La Maison Citroën’, ‘La Manufacture Citroën’ embodies the brand’s desire to provide its customers – private or professional – with the same standards of service, comfort and personalisation.

With pilot sites in Reims, France and internationally in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Citroën is aiming to roll out ‘La Manufacture Citroën’ across the whole of its commercial dealer network over the next three years.
