New President Wendell Brooks gave his first public address on the future of the world’s largest corporate venture investor. The first-ever Intel Capital Entrepreneur of the Year Award went to Virtustream, whose founders in less than six years took their startup from garage to $1.2B exit (one of Intel Capital’s largest). In another Global Summit first, five existing portfolio companies unveiled new products: Altia Systems, Avogy, Braigo Labs, Fortscale and Two Bit Circus.
