Fiat and Itaú Unibanco have renewed for ten years the commercial cooperation agreement which has been in existence since 2003.

This agreement assures to Fiat’s customers and dealer network a strong financial partner offering a full spectrum of competitive financing solutions. In return Itaú Unibanco is assured exclusivity for Fiat’s new vehicle financing sold in promotional campaigns and exclusive use of the Fiat brand in activities related to vehicle financing.

The COO of Fiat in Latin America, Cledorvino Belini, said the renewal of the partnership with Itaú Unibanco is a consequence of the mutual trust and operating convergence built over a ten-year relationship.

“The spirit of this association is the continued development of the Brazilian automotive market, in order to respond with
agility and competitiveness to the needs and expectations of consumers and of Fiat’s dealer network,” said Belini.

The president of Itaú Unibanco, Roberto Setubal, declared that the renewal of the agreement reinforces the institution’s long term commitment with the Brazilian financial market, with the clients’ satisfaction and with the creation of value for the shareholders.

“With this renewal, we reaffirm our trust in the country’s future and in the relationship with Fiat, which is our strategic partner”, says the executive.

Fiat is the leader in the Brazilian cars and light commercial vehicles market for the eleventh year.

Itaú Unibanco is one of the biggest banks of the world and the leader of the Brazilian market on vehicle financing.
