FCA US LLC is voluntarily recalling an estimated 72 cars in the U.S. to inspect and tighten or install a bolt that secures a side-curtain air bag.
 
Post-assembly inspections discovered some vehicles produced during a 10-day period this year may have loose or missing bolts. The bolt is designed to secure a side-curtain air bag which, if improperly installed, may not provide full protection.
 
The Company is unaware of any related injuries, accidents or customer complaints.
 
An automated assembly-line verification process has been implemented to prevent recurrence.
 
The campaign is limited to certain model-year 2015 Dodge Challengers. An additional six vehicles are believed to be in Canada, while three are in Mexico.
 
Affected customers will be advised when they may schedule service.
