Deval M. Desai, Magna  has been confirmed as a speaker in the Car Lightweighting & Manufacturing track at Automotive Megatrends India 2015.

Desai serves as Executive Director of Strategy and Planning and India Country Manager at Magna, a global automotive supplier that designs, develops and manufactures components and systems for the world’s leading auto makers. In this position, Desai is responsible for market intelligence and strategic business development of Magna’s operating group companies, as well as strategy and planning for India and other developing markets.

Desai is an accomplished engineering professional with more than twenty five years of demonstrated success in positions of progressive and diverse responsibility. He specialises in strategic business development and market intelligence to gain market share, launch new products/services and rejuvenate existing lines of business.

Prior to joining Magna, Desai was Business Development and engineering lead with Koito, a leading global automotive lighting supplier.

Automotive Megatrends India is a two-day, multiple-track conference focusing on commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The Car Lightweighting and Manufacturing track on day two will cover the best and most efficient ways to reduce vehicle weight in mainstream light vehicles.
