Denis Naberezhnykh, Head of ITS and Low Carbon Vehicle Technology, Transport Research Laboratory, has been confirmed for the Alternative Powertrains session at Automotive World’s CV Megatrends Europe 2013, taking place on 12 November 2013. 

Over the last five years, Denis has led and delivered projects looking at recent developments in vehicle technologies, possible changes in the near future and assessing the impacts of these technologies.

Denis led in the areas of modelling Electric Vehicle (EV) take up, assessing benefits of EVs in fleets, assessment of charging infrastructure and possible deployment strategies, feasibility of EV battery reuse and recycling, and the assessment and feasibility of inductive charging for electric vehicles. At TRL, Denis has delivered projects for UK and European government clients, as well as clients in the private sector.

TRL is the UK’s Transport Research Laboratory. It is an independent organisation undertaking academic and industry research, as well as providing consultancy services in areas ranging from road infrastructure and safety, to sustainable mobility and user behaviour. TRL works with fleet operators, vehicle manufacturers, the European Commission, government clients and other clients across the world.

Organised by Automotive World, the CV Megatrends Europe ‘13 is a two-stream conference. Denis Naberezhnykh will be speaking in the Alternative Powertrains session of Stream 1: Fuel Efficiency & Emissions Reduction.
