Connected Vehicle is a market that is projected to reach $130 billion by 2019. By 2022, there will be 1.8 million automotive mobile to mobile (M2M) connections worldwide.
The Department of Transportation (DOT) will launch new standards for Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) requiring consistent technical language and communication protocols, all of which are becoming more specific to align with new laws. It’s imperative to maintain consistencies in blending the languages of IT and Engineering.
In addition, 500,000 jobs will need to be filled in the next five years.
Mobile Comply is launching the first-ever Connected Vehicle Professional Certification program. It is a collaborative initiative between the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the Connected Vehicle Trade Association (CVTA) and Mobile Comply. The goal of the program is to provide training and certification to professionals in various industries- including automotive, insurance, financial, health care, telecommunications, analytics companies, mobile and nomadic device manufacturers, application software developers and much more.
The complete program consists of a series of courses that will result in SAE certificates of competencies. If you are interested in enhancing your knowledge or being trained, contact cvp@mobilecomply.com
