This was quoted from the head of a Saudi Arabian dealer who was talking about China’s Chery instead of Japanese, Korean, European or American brands.
Chery’s Tiggo 5 and Tiggo 3 have recently wrapped up a one-month extreme road test in Saudi Arabia and been highly acclaimed by the local dealer for their outstanding performance. Passing the extreme test shows Chery’s brilliant results in quality improvement over the years.
Sources said the road test lasted nearly one month. During the test, Tiggo 5 and Tiggo 3 ran at a high temperature of over 50 degrees Celsius in Saudi Arabia every day, and covered a total of over 10,000 kilometers. Also, they withstood the severe tests of landforms such as mountain and sand, showing outstanding performance and quality in such aspects as power, control and durability.
The new models’ outstanding performance amazed the Saudi Arabian dealer. The dealer’s general manager said, “Chery cars showed their outstanding performance in various harsh conditions with quality assured, we are satisfied with the road test result, I like your Chery cars.”
Saudi Arabia is one of the wealthiest countries as well as one of the countries with the harshest natural environment in the world. In terms of climatic environment, Saudi Arabia is in the tropical desert climate zone, with high temperature and little rain all year around, and the apparent temperature can be up to a record of over 80 degrees Celsius; in terms of geomorphic environment, 90 percent of Saudi Arabia in the center of Arab Plateau is covered by deserts and gobi. Saudi Arabia’s terrain is trapezoid-shaped, high in the west and low in the east. The harsh climatic environment and the rugged land require that only vehicles with stable performance and strong environmental adaptability can access the Saudi Arabian market.
