On August 8, the world-famous market consultancy and survey company J.D. Power released 2019 Initial Quality Study report (IQS), which reveals that Chinese auto brands, compared with foreign brands in the mainstream auto market, have moved considerably upward in the list and highlighted the great progress of Chinese brands as a whole. Chery moves upward by 26 places compared with last year, thus joining the tier of many JV brands. Chery Tiggo series and Chery new-energy vehicles make exceptional performance, taking the leading position in the multiple segments.
In the 2019 IQS, Tiggo2 and Tiggo3 take the first two places in small SUV segment, leading all competitors. Tiggo2 also wins the title of Award-winning Model in 2019 IQS. Tiggo8 and Tigo4 make wonderful performance, taking the 4th place in medium-size SUV segment and compact SUV segment that contain many world-famous brands.
It is worth noting that in 2019 IQS for new-energy vehicles, Chery New Energy makes sudden rise and ranks No. 3, only after NIO and BMW. In the segment of small EVs, Chery eQ1 takes the first place to live up to expectations.

In January-July this year, Chery sold 373,000 units in total, including 327,000 units of Chinese brand, up by 6.2% and growing for seven months in a row.
