Schaeffler’s Annual General Meeting appointed Dr. Holger Engelmann (48) as member of the Supervisory Board as of March 23, 2014. He succeeds Franz-Josef Kortuem who had been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2010 and resigned from this position on March 22, 2014.
Dr. Holger Engelmann has been chairman of the management board of Webasto SE in Stockdorf near Munich since January 1, 2013. He has also been chairman of roof systems division since August 1, 2008. Before joining Webasto in 2007, he was employed at Mannesmann Plastics Machinery and the Mannesmann subsidiary Fichtel und Sachs (now ZF Friedrichshafen).
