BYD Motors, Inc. Announces its DBE Program Goal for FY2016
BYD Motors Inc. (BYD) has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program in accordance with 49 CFR Part 26. For the purpose of this DBE Program, BYD proposes to set its overall goal utilizing all information available to it, including information available in BYD’s area of manufacturing operation and comments received from the public in response to this notice.
BYD has set a goal of 4% participation in DOT-assisted contracts FY2016. This proposed goal and its methodology are available for public inspection during regular business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. pacific standard time at BYD Motors’ office, 1800 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015 for 30 days following the date of this notice. BYD and the FTA will accept comments on the goal for 45 days from the date of this notice. The goal may be adjusted depending upon comments received.
