The factory of tomorrow is intelligent and fully connected – where traditional mechanical engineering meets IT. At Hannover Messe, taking place from April 25 to 29, 2016, Bosch will be showcasing exactly this: the connected factory. Among the items we’ll be exhibiting are sensors in manufacturing, flexibly adjustable assembly systems, and a new intelligent and connected workstation with an integrated robot. The individual stations are digitally networked and exchange manufacturing data with each other. Central to all of this is a focus on the concrete benefit for customers, for example higher productivity thanks to predictive maintenance or improved quality control.
