Recent predictions for the global biofuel market are positive. Capacity is set to grow to 61 billion gallons per year (BGY) in 2018, up from 55.1 BGY in 2014, according to a Lux Research report.
But these estimates were made prior to the VW scandal. Could the ongoing situation have a knock-on effect on the future of the market?
