Volkswagen Group's problems with defeat device software worsened on 2 November when the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued the OEM with a second Notice of Violation (NOV). While the numbers involved in this second violation are much smaller, the impact on consumer trust and corporate leadership could be much bigger.
