A new two-year project into dual-fuel (CNG-diesel) heavy-vehicles is kicking off in the UK, promising to shed light into both the promise and the challenges of this alternative powertrain approach. The trial will test 41 Euro V vehicles, spanning models from a range of different vehicle manufacturers.
