Global truck component and systems supplier Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) has reported first quarter (Q1) 2015 revenues of US$220.3m, a year-over-year increase of 11.2%. This growth comes during a period of strong US truck production which is allowing the supplier to realise significant sales growth.
As is evident from other suppliers’ success in 2015, North America remains a market with strong commercial vehicle (CV) production. Meritor’s Chief Executive Jay Craig recently commented during the supplier’s latest earnings call that significant sales improvements had been made “in a very strong North American truck cycle,” where “orders continue to be strong.”
