Sticking to powertrain focus is cost effective, low risk for BorgWarner

BorgWarner will not branch out from its powertrain business, instead expanding its existing portfolio to meet efficiency trends

At the 2015 Global Auto Industry Conference held in Detroit, BorgWarner’s Chief Executive James Verrier outlined its financial forecast for 2015 and beyond.

Regardless of what happens to fuel prices, OEMs have to improve their fuel economy and reduce emissions. BorgWarner is a supplier of advanced powertrain technology, and every product in its portfolio is geared toward improving fuel efficiency, better emissions and vehicle performance.
