Nissan achieved its goal of completing the first ever all-electric lap at Le Mans. The ZEOD (zero emissions on demand) RC completed the 8.5-mile circuit on all-electric power during the morning warm up, but only lasted 23 minutes during the actual race, completing five laps before losing power due to a gearbox problem.
