Nissan remains unfazed by the slowing new car market in Brazil, and has just announced the opening of a satellite design studio in Rio de Janeiro. The new facility, Nissan Design America Rio (NDA-R), is located at Nissan's Brazil headquarters and will address local design preferences and requirements. The move, which comes in the face of a 1.5% decline in light vehicle sales last year, emphasises the importance the company still places on the region.
