Held in Washington DC on 30 March 2016, the Global Methane Forum brought together experts and policy-makers from around the world to explore options for methane reduction. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) chose to launch the Natural Gas STAR Methane Challenge Programme aimed at reducing methane emissions, improving air quality and monetising natural gas (NG) at the event.
