Lower 2016 NA truck volumes may bode well for supplier efficiencies

More manageable capacity levels may benefit North American commercial vehicle suppliers

Questions are being asked of the North American commercial vehicle (CV) market as 2015 comes to an end. As Oliver Dixon wrote for Automotive World in October: “The party that has been the North American truck cycle is now drawing to a close… It’s game over for this cycle.”

Speaking at the Barclays Global Automotive Conference in New York (18 to 19 November 2015), James Kamsickas, Chief Executive of Dana, gave his views on where the North American heavy truck market is headed in 2016.
