Tesla has become the target of a lemon lawsuit, drawing the spotlight not only on the quality of its models but once again its retail strategy. Lemon laws were set up to protect customers against cars that repeatedly suffer defects, and help make dealers honour the warranties on the cars they sell. In this case, Tesla suggests there are other priorities at play.
