Late to the party, FCA pushes (limited) autonomous progress

FCA is counting on a collaboration with Waymo as its ticket to play in the autonomous race, but it's role is more that of supplier than innovator. By Megan Lampinen

Keen to confirm it participation in the autonomous car race, FCA is showing off the completed batch of 100 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid minivans destined for Waymo's self-driving fleet. The newly christened Waymo (formerly the Google self-driving car project) plans to equip the models with its own self-driving technology for road testing.
