The SUV boom continues, and is now spreading to new powertrain segments. Despite the fact that range anxiety and battery costs still remain issues, the electric vehicle (EV) segment will soon be punctuated with a variety of SUV models. Each of these could provide significant competition to the Tesla Model X, which has been in production and on the market since 2015.
