Volvo Cars managed to report record sales last year and strong financial improvements, despite a lack of model launches, hefty financial investment and currency headwinds. Company President and Chief Executive Hakan Samuelsson reminded media at a press conference following the results publication that the company remains in an investment phase at the moment, but that it should start to see the benefits of that investment later this year.
