After years of pushing the benefits of natural gas in the passenger car segment, Honda is finally cutting its losses and exiting the market. John Mendel, Executive Vice President, Automobile Division, American Honda Motor, made the official announcement at an event on 15 June, confirming that the Civic line-up will scrap its natural gas variant, as well as its hybrid version. Both will be discontinued with the end of the 2015 model year.
