CES 2016 was notable not for a swathe of new technologies across the multitude of industry sectors represented at the show, but rather for being a celebration of significant incremental developments in existing and recently revealed technologies and services. Gone was talk of infotainment in favour of connectivity, while the Internet of Things made way for the concept of connected life.
