Ford puts luxury front and centre, lifts Lincoln targets

Mark Fields and Kumar Galhotra outline their plan of attack for the lucrative global luxury segment.

Kumar Galhotra has only been in charge of Lincoln for one month, but he is already outlining ambitious growth targets for Ford's luxury brand. Speaking at Ford's Investor's Day Conference on 29 September, Galhotra outlined plans to triple Lincoln's global sales to 300,000 units by the end of the decade.
