Ford moves to increase production levels over the summer

With demand for its newer models on the rise, Ford has decided to cut short its traditional summer shutdown in order to boost output levels

Sales of the all-new Ford Edge reached a record high for the month of May, posting a 34% year-on-year increase. The new Explorer, which went on sale last month, saw a 24% increase in retail sales. According to Ford, there has been strong consumer demand for some of its newest products.
