Chinese vehicle manufacturer FAW Group has entered into an agreement with Algerian firm Arcofina to set up vehicle assembly operations in the country. The project entails initial investment of Algerian Dinars 5bn (US$61.91m). Arcofina, which will be the majority shareholder in this joint venture, has said that this figure will rise further.
